U of M Spring Jam

Spring Jam is an annual celbration held at the the University of Minnesota’s Twin Cities’ campus as a way to refresh students from the long winter and give them encouragement for the remaining weeks of the semesters

I began the 2009 Spring Jam campaign with a hand illustrated rockabilly guitar. The color palette was inspired by a playground and primary colors. In order to create a more sophisticated palette, I chose richer colors that followed each primary hue.

The Spring Jam campaign also presented the opportunity to create two large-scale banners for both student unions at the university. Each banner was required to communicate the theme to students walking, but also to those driving by.
